How to shop

Shopping at the TOWANDA online boutique is easy, just follow the steps below:
Select products from the product menu on the left hand side of the screen.  All the styles that are available to buy from that particular product category will be shown as thumbnail images. Click on the image to access the individual item's product page where you will be given information on price, sizing, colour options and larger product images. Add merchandise to your shopping bag by clicking on the "add to shopping bag" button near the desired product. The pricing displayed for each product is based on the country you are shopping from.

Review the items you have chosen in your shopping bag. To delete an item from your shopping bag, click on the "remove item" next to the item. To change the number of items, change the quantity and then click on "update quantity". Please be aware that when the item is in your shopping bag another customer can still purchase it. Proceed to "checkout" to finalise your purchases and continue to follow the instructions. We will send an email confirming your order has been received. This is an automatically generated email and is not an order confirmation. We will send a second email confirming your order with successful payment and delivery details.

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. TOWANDA offers products for sale that are in stock and available for dispatch from our boutique in Sydney, Australia.

Australian prices are inclusive of GST.

Acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and TOWANDA will be finalised when we dispatch the goods to you. The sale contract is therefore concluded in Sydney, Australia and the language of the contract is International.

We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn.

All credit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to TOWANDA, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

GST (Goods and Services Tax)

Australian online purchase for delivery within Australia.
GST (Goods and Services Tax) is a value-added tax of 10% added on most goods and services transactions in Australia. Prices on our website are inclusive of GST. Customers who reside in Australia, or are making a purchase for delivery within Australia will be charged this tax at the rate of ten per cent.  Our prices are shown inclusive of GST so no further tax is added.

International online purchase for delivery outside of Australia.

Exported goods are tax-free and not subject to Australia's GST. TOWANDA passes this benefit onto our international customers for online purchases shipped overseas – these purchases are Australian GST free. Customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be imposed in the country where your order originated will be the customers responsibility.



Gift Certificates:

Towanda gift certificates are redeemable exclusively at TOWANDA boutiques including online purchases from Gift certificates are valid for 6 months from date of issue. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for the purchase of other gift certificates or for cash & are not transferable. Gift Certificates cannot be returned or refunded. Towanda customer loyalty offer does not apply to either the purchaser of the Towanda gift certificate or any purchases made using the Towanda gift certificate.

Using your Gift Certificate online:

Delivery charges will be added to your shopping bag during checkout.
Delivery within Australia: Flat rate of $15.00 (AUD) will apply to any parcel. All parcels are sent using Australia Post by Express Post.
Delivery for International orders: Flat rate of $35.00 (AUD) will apply to any parcel. All parcels are sent using Australia Post by parcel post.


Under some circumstances shipping charges for International orders will be based upon the weight of the order  / destination and will be determined post transaction via email confirmation. Because of this, please allow 3 to 4 business days to process the transaction.  


All orders require a street address and telephone number for delivery.


The responsibility for any customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be imposed in the country where the order originated will rest with the customer.

At this time we do not post to PO BOX addresses.

Returns and Exchanges procedure

Notify us at or call +61 2 92331220 within 5 days of delivery of the item/s. Please include order number & reason for return / exchange. Once you have received a reply email with a Returns Authorization number please print a copy of this email and include this in the delivery with your returned item/s. If returning item/s from outside Australia, you must mark on the parcel ‘RETURN OF GOODS’.

Return item/s will only be accepted if the item/s are received by us in original unused re-saleable condition, original packaging and purchase receipt. All item/s must be in new and unworn condition with all tags still attached. Any item/s which are considered to be worn, damaged or soiled will be returned back to you and we will be unable to refund your money.

All FINAL SALE styles - no refunds or exchanges and styles are not valid for a return or exchange for change of mind or if an incorrect size/colour is ordered.

Faulty or wrong item
If the item you received is faulty or is not what you originally ordered, please contact quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will send an email to you with a Returns Reference number. Returns will not be accepted if our returns procedure is not followed. A full refund  (including delivery charges), will be given if any item purchased is proven faulty or has been sent as a result of our error.


Please note: You are held responsible for posting the goods back to us. 

Returns must be received within 5 days of receipt of Returns Authorization number.

Please follow the above conditions to ensure we can promptly exchange or refund your item/s. We will endeavour to refund you as soon as possible, but please allow for up to 10 working days from receipt of your item/s.
Where a refund is requested and approved, we will credit your original method of payment with the price of the returned merchandise. Postage paid will not be refunded.

Where an exchange is requested and approved we will send out a new item. If the exchange is due to manufacture fault we will pay for delivery of the new item back to you. If the exchange is due to change of mind or incorrect sizing we will advise you of the delivery charge.
